This policy explains how the Visqora Chrome extension and website handle information. Visqora is a product by 55onze.

Extension behavior

Visqora lets you select elements on supported HTTP(S) webpages and inspect or compare a defined set of computed CSS values. When you select an element, the extension creates a snapshot containing a random identifier, the element tag, a structural selector, 18 allowlisted computed-style values, the source tab and full page URL, the capture time, and a Chrome document identifier when one is available.

The inspector reads these values only after you explicitly start inspection and select an element. It does not intentionally read or save page text, HTML, arbitrary attributes, form entries, input values, passwords, or webpage cookies. Structural selectors can reveal the selected element's tag and position within nearby page structure, and source URLs can include paths and query parameters.

To keep inspection tied to the correct document, the extension also processes tab activation, URL, loading, and removal events. Those lifecycle records remain in the extension service worker's memory and are not added to the saved comparison workspace unless you select an element.

Browser permissions

Visqora uses the following Chrome extension capabilities to provide its core function:

activeTab
Provides temporary access to the current tab after you invoke Visqora from its toolbar action.
scripting
Injects the packaged inspector into a supported page after you click Inspect.
sidePanel
Displays the Visqora interface alongside the inspected webpage.
storage
Keeps selected snapshots in Chrome's in-memory session storage.
tabs
Reads tab URLs and observes activation, navigation, reload, and removal events so inspection follows the correct tab and document.
Optional HTTP(S) site access
Declares HTTP and HTTPS as optional host permissions. Visqora requests access only to the current site's origin when you click Inspect; this access is not granted at installation.

Chrome-controlled pages, PDFs, and other unsupported documents cannot be inspected. Visqora checks the page before injection and reports access or injection failures in the Side Panel. It does not register a content script that runs persistently on every webpage.

Processing, storage, and retention

Inspection and comparison are performed in your browser. Visqora stores up to five selected snapshots in chrome.storage.session so they remain available when you navigate, switch tabs, close the Side Panel, or Chrome suspends the extension service worker.

Chrome keeps this storage in memory while the extension is loaded. Chrome clears it when the browser restarts or the extension is disabled, reloaded, or updated. You can remove an individual snapshot or clear the workspace from the Side Panel at any time. Visqora does not use Chrome's local or sync storage for these snapshots.

External transmission

The reviewed extension code and locally generated version 0.4.0 production build do not send selected snapshots, computed styles, structural selectors, or tab URLs to Visqora, 55onze, or another external server. Messages carrying inspection data stay within the extension's Side Panel, service worker, and injected inspector contexts in Chrome.

The extension has no account system, advertising integration, analytics, telemetry, error-reporting service, AI service, or backend API. Its current production bundle uses packaged code and does not load remote scripts. Because inspected information is not transmitted outside the browser by the extension, 55onze does not receive, sell, or use it for advertising.

Website behavior

The Visqora website is hosted on Vercel. When you visit it, Vercel may process technical request information such as your IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs to deliver and secure the site and operate its services. This hosting activity is separate from the information processed locally by the Chrome extension. Vercel describes its practices in its Privacy Notice.

The current website application code does not set cookies or include accounts, forms, analytics, advertising trackers, third-party scripts, externally hosted fonts, or embedded media. It contains links to external sites, which are visited only when you choose to follow them. Vercel's exact production log retention settings are not defined in this repository.
